Tundra is a semi-savoy spinach. Semi-savoy spinach is generally considered the best type for growing at home because it has all the benefits of savoy spinach—better taste, longer keep time, and less oxalic acid than smooth types—but its leaves are only lightly crinkled. And Tundra's elongated, oval, glossy, dark green baby leaves have excellent texture and flavor.
