Yard long beans are sometimes called Asparagus beans or Chinese Long beans. Red Noodle beans have an unusual purple-red color and are a well-known variety in southern China.

Conor's note: "These prolific beauties can grow up to 22" long, but I usually pick them atv 8''-12'' as they are more tender then. The beans lose its red color when cooked but have a lovely nutty . This vigorous plant is heat tolerant.
