Aquadulce Fava beans are a versatile and delicious garden crop that can be grown in both the spring and fall in full sun. Each Seed yields not only plentiful amounts of beans, but greens that can be used in cooking as well. It should be planted either in the fall or spring, both for spring yields. Fava Aquadulce Bean plants grow from anywhere between 2-5 feet tall, and are ready to be harvested when the Bean pods are full to the touch for fresh beans, and after the pods have dried for dried beans. Greens are delicious and taste similar to spinach.
