Velouette cosmos are deepest red with beautifully contrasting white stripes and (on the same plant) white blooms with dark red picotees.
Excellent cut flower and makes stunning bouquets.
Velouette is a soft name for this boldest of cosmos, and when massed in the landscape Velouette is what we call a 'one-hundred-yard flower,' as plants are easily admired from a distance. Bloom begins in May and when old flowers are removed continues until frost.
Plants grow 26 to 34 in. tall.
